Paaqavi Incorporated is supported entirely through donations, grants and other fund-raising activities. This funding allows us to work directly with our local communities in projects that further our stated “mission” goals. In addition, the Board wishes to continue to offer Paaqavi Incorporated as a Fiscal Sponsor for community-based projects. As we work to build the capacity of the organization, our internal education and training needs also grow. This includes areas of Board Development, Fiscal Management training and Strategic Planning.

In addition, there are projects and training opportunities waiting to happen. This includes areas of Historic Preservation (traditional architecture), Hopi Archaeology workshops, Land Restoration, and Cultural Tourism (land/river guiding). We also seek to further the mentoring and development of professionals and traditional knowledge holders to support these endeavors into the future.

As financial assistance from both federal and tribal governments continues to shrink, it is imperative that local communities begin to develop and strengthen their own ways of self-sufficiency. As a community-based organization, Paaqavi Incorporated is committed to supporting initiatives that prioritize our local people. Your monetary donation will help build our capacity to offer more training and technical assistance to our Hopi communities.
